The drumkit like stand that is included allows the bass to be free standing in whatever playing position best suits you. Or, for more mobility, the peg can be extended and the bass held in place in the standard fashion, steadying the detachable bout against your chest. A great padded carrying case is included, making this bass far easier to transport than any of its acoustic brethren. It retailed for $6,000 new. I bought it in1999. I am the second owner.
