SC 222; HGC 9, 102. facing right and holds an eagle, which follows the typology of the Zeus on Alexander the Great’s coinage (itself developed from the Ba’al Tarz of Mazaeus’ Cilician coinage). The Alexandrine association suggests that this issue might have been produced under Mazaeus as satrap of Babylon (331-328 BC) or under his successors in Babylon. Cf.
